Rosecrance Health Network

New Adolescent Treatment Center

ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS

We provided full A/E and interior design services for this 68,000 SF, 78-bed adolescent substance abuse treatment center. Sited on 50 acres, the facility includes patient residential areas, kitchen, offices, classrooms, fitness center, school, chapel and an outdoor dining patio. Interior spaces evoke a homelike atmosphere, reminiscent of a mountain lodge with open-beam rafters and views of the Serenity Healing garden. AIA/NI Merit Award for Excellence in Architecture.

Dekalb County

New Nursing Home & Public Health Clinic

DEKALB, ILLINOIS

This 110,000 square-foot facility combines the county's Public Health Clinic and Nursing Home, plus a shared multipurpose facility. Tight budget constraints from both state and county necessitated simplicity and efficient space use. Residential character and warm colors help create a relaxed environment. All nursing care services and ancillary support functions are on 1 level. Levels of care are divided into two pods, four wings each. Each pod has an oversized dining and social activity space.

Peterson Meadows

New Senior Living Apartments

ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS

Under the auspices of Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, this 115,000 square-foot project included master planning and complete architectural and engineering design for an entire retirement community. Phase I consisted of a 76-unit apartment building with underground parking, community building, site amenities and 26 two-bedroom duplex cottages. Economical construction costs and techniques provided a luxurious feel and look, and each apartment/condo complex features individual appearance. The project also had to meet many ADA compliance issues.

John C. Proctor Home

Residential Health Care Center

PEORIA, ILLINOIS

The new, 59-bed residential health care center covers 32,700 square feet. We also renovated the existing health care center into 16 assisted-living apartments. The project included dining room renovation as well.

Countryside Estates

New Assisted Living Facility

PETERSBURG, ILLINOIS

Sunny Acres Home, the Menard County Nursing Home, contracted with us to provide architectural and engineering services to design assisted living units for seniors. The need for this 22,000 square-foot project was based on the high demand for the assisted living program at Sunny Acres, which we also designed. Countryside Estates has 18 one-bedroom apartments, plus three efficiency units with garages. The common areas include a beauty shop, personal laundries, and activities room, living room and a social kitchen.

Petersen Healthcare

New Assisted Living Facilities

BRADFORD, ILLINOIS

We provided architectural, structural and engineering design for this new, assisted-living community for Petersen Healthcare (Courtyard Estates) in Bradford, Illinois. This is an 18-bed assisted-living community with 12,500 square feet.
