Danfoss

New Office & Manufacturing

LOVES PARK, ILLINOIS

We provided master planning, and full A/E design services for the initial new 120,000 SF office, testing and assembly facility. Master planning met Danfoss’ requirement for a future expansion. We delivered full A/E and interior design services for the 129,000 SF expansion and renovation. The project was designed to meet LEED Silver criteria and added new test cells, office space and a training/conferencing facility. 2010 AIA/NI Honor Award.

Office Addition & Renovations

ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS

We designed this 8,000 SF renovation and 8,000 SF expansion of this office building and meeting hall. Project features larger offices, a well-defined reception area with a store, waiting area, and a more spacious conference room. We added restrooms, a kitchen, storage and mechanical space. A separate meeting hall entrance allows for community use. Exterior refinishing was required to update and unify the additions. 2010 AIA/NI Merit Award.

New Office Building

LOVES PARK, ILLINOIS

We provided full A/E services for this 7,200 SF corporate office building. The client desired a distinctive image. The design features a grand barrel vaulted entrance lobby, a high-tech conference room with a view, a well-appointed executive suite, and an inviting staff workspace with 10 offices. Natural stone and brick exterior with cast stone accents complement a rich palette of interior finishes and furnishings.

New Office & Manufacturing Facility

BLUFFTON, OHIO

We provided full A/E services for numerous projects – both new and renovations – on this 150-acre campus; including two new engineering office buildings, a manufacturing plant, a five-story corporate office tower, annex, gatehouse, and interior furnishings. These facilities in Ohio are networked with Grob’s assembly plants in the U.S., Germany and Brazil.

We have provided a full range of A/E design services from projects at the Rockford campus to projects in China, Poland, and Singapore. Among our more than 650 assignments include the design of the 250,000 SF corporate headquarters, and the 680,000 SF engineering and manufacturing addition. We have played a key role in space planning, scheduling strategies and task sequencing of these projects.

Woodward

New Cafeteria & Lobby Renovation

LOVES PARK, ILLINOIS

Since 1980, we have been the architect-of-record for over 250 projects for Woodward. We recently designed a new, 10,200 SF multi-use cafeteria that overlooks the “Great Lawn” with a glass connecting link to the “1930’s era” main office building. We provided full A/E services for a 7,000 SF renovation to the main lobby, product display area and main office. We also delivered new office projects in Loveland, CO and Stevens Point, WI.

DeKalb County Farm Bureau

New Office Building

SYCAMORE, ILLINOIS

This 41,500 SF facility houses the DeKalb County Farm Bureau and other agricultural support organizations. Facilities include an auditorium, multi-purpose room and training room. Our architectural design was inspired by the rural agricultural structures. At each phase of the design process, we worked with the Farm Bureau’s 35-member board for approvals. AIA/NI Honor Award for Excellence in Architecture.

Dining Room & Cafeteria Renovation

MOSSVILLE, ILLINOIS

This facility is designed to meet the current corporate climate for a dining experience. The project includes a new multi-faceted, flexible full-service prep kitchen that supports a combination prep/scramble serving area, a vending machine area and executive dining room. Flexible seating in the executive dining room allows for various styles of dining and enables it to function as a high tech conference room.

Corporate Recreation & Conference Center

UNDISCLOSED MIDWEST LOCATION

We provided full A/E and interior design services, plus construction administration for this unique project. It required demolition of the existing conference center and swimming pool prior to construction of a new, 10,000 SF conference center complete with basement. The project features an outdoor 9,600 SF family aquatics area. We also increased the parking capacity and provided safer and more efficient circulation.

Rockford YWCA

New Facility

ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS

We provided complete A/E design services for this new, 15,800 SF facility, which reflects the Y’s mission of the empowerment of girls, women and families. The new building, located on 2.5 acres, offers a 120-person conference space, children’s play area, administrative offices and counseling offices for this local non-profit agency. AIA/NI Merit Award for Excellence in Architecture.
